 FLASH CARD & ADAPTER FOR HCS/HCD/HCR

Using Flash-type memory cards (the same kind found in many digital cameras) is a fast, convenient way to transfer designs into the HCS Voyager, HCD & HCR machines.  While we have seen cards up to 1Gb (1024Mb) work well, the official recommendation from Happy is 256Mb or 512Mb compact flash cards, which are still large enough to hold thousands of average and large sized designs.

Compact Flash Adapter   (one required per machine)  $ 17.95 ea.

You'll need a PCMCIA Compact Flash adapter "sleeve" that the card fits into. This adapter "sleeve" allows the card to be inserted into the type of removable card slot found in laptops, which is the kind of slot on the side of the control panel where the card must be inserted.  
(note, the card CAN be inserted and/or removed while the machine is powered on and while sewing - 
just don't do this while a design is being transferred!) for the HCS Voyager, HCD & HCR machines. 

USB Memory Flash Drive

Jump Drive - 1 Gigabyte USB memory flash drive  $ 19.95 ea

Many of the latest HCS Voyager, HCD & HCR Happy machines can use a USB Jump Drive ( also called a memory stick or flash drive ). 
The 1 GB Jump Drive will hold 4 times the amount of the 256mb Flash Card.  Using larger than 1GB not recommended!
