GREAT EMBROIDERY STARTS WITH EXCELLENT STABILIZATION!! Tearaway backing is the type of stabilizer you want to use under stable projects. This would be any garment with any detectable a stretch to it. Examples of materials are canvas, denim, leather& towels. Garments like bags, coats, jackets & jeans. Using a tearaway backing on these projects helps ensure even tensions on the bobbin stitches and easy removal of the extra stabilizer once the project is finished. We carry the
1.8 Oz
white tearaway backing in several different pre-cut, perforated and
continuous rolls.
Also available in a continuous roll if you want
to cut your own size.

DURKEE SQUARE HOOPS ARE
USEFUL
FOR MANY APPLICATIONS. Square hoops are the most efficient way to address the majority of square/rectangular designs you will encounter. You will be able use less stabilizer for the same design with a square hoop instead of a round. Durkee square hoops are not perfectly square, they have rounded corners and slightly bowed sides to help establish equilateral tension on the project being sewn. Please click on
