Replacement Inks and Supplies
Incorporated into these inks are INKMAX's "uni Color for textile ink", a newly-developed water-based pigment ink, made from nano-sized pigment particles coated with a thin-film layer of special binding polymers.
Unlike traditional textile pigment inks, fabrics printed by "uni Color" ink have a softer texture, better abrasion
resistance, UV fade resistance, and color-fastness through repeated washes.
The finer particles are also friendlier for the ink delivery systems on textile printers.

INKMAX INKS have been specially formulated for the Epson print head.
This is the most common print head used in the garment print industry.
Please check your garment printer's documentation to see if you can take advantage of this quality ink.

WHAT'S NEW besides pricing

The new INKMAX white ink cures much more easily than the first-generation INKMAX white (reduced fading).
The new formulation that gives brighter white prints, and a better surface for color prints.

The S7 Polytreat (labeled on the box as S7(10) "Pre-Treatment for White T-shirt" and is also known as "Polytreat") allows Solo owners to print to light-colored 100% polyester garments,
something Solo owners couldn't do before without it.
It is also colorless (the old S5 that it replaces had a yellow color cast to it,
which sometimes showed up on white shirts as it aged).

TEXMAC's SOLO single head printer is designed to be compact and convenient:
The SOLO uses a 100cc (3.4 oz) cartridge system for it's color inks. This makes installation and replacement a simple operation,
with little more effort than a standard desktop inkjet office printer.
White ink use a bulk delivery system that is refillable from 1 liter bottles.

White Ink is used as a base before applying any other ink to a colored garment.
We carry white ink by 2 different manufacturers, INKMAX and DuPont Fastink.

New white ink can be mixed with existing INKMAX white ink (or DuPont/FastInk white ink if you were using it previously),
to save some expensive and time consuming flushing. First run the old ink out as low as practical, then pour the new white ink on top.
This has been tested successfully here with good wash results.
If customers haven't flushed their white ink system for 6-8 months, go ahead and flush anyway.

Pre-Treatment solution is a specially formulated product used to bond the ink to the garment.
This produces a better quality print and a longer lasting image.
It is available in 3 different concentrations for different applications.
